Rare Stone Museum in Pathum Thani is an individual museum established by a Thai collector name “Banyong Lertnimitr”, a businessman who incredibly addicted to rare stones. He has been collecting more than 10,000 pieces of miraculous stones from around the world for more than 40 years. The museum was originally located in Bangkok but it has moved to Pathum Thani since 2007. It displays the rare stone collection in a large room plus a small room at the front.

Each of these stones has its own unique appearance that naturally happens from earth. Some of them used to be a living thing in the ancient world but eventually transformed into fossils. Seeing these stones can drive your imagination from their amazing shapes, textures, and colors.



The museum also displays ancient Chinese painting and so many other items in his collection like stamps, sculptures, crystals, ceramics, etc. Some of stones and items can be purchased but the prices depend on how rare of the item you want.
